Who should attend

Prof. Manoranjan Dhal
Dr. Dhal is awarded with his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in the area of Trade Union and Labour Management Relations after getting awarded the Junior Research Fellow from UGC. He holds a master degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from Berhampur University, Odisha. He is also trained in as Compensation and Benefit Manager, Certified Recruitment Analyst, Certifed Trainer and Facilitator, Certified Competency Accessor, Professional Development Programme (Indian Society for Applied Behavioural Science). He is working with Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode as Associate Professor since April 2010. Prior to joining IIMK, Dr. Dhal was working as Manager – HR for GE Capital and handled the functions of Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits Management, and Learning & Development. In GE he was awarded as best retention manager, and special recognition award by HR Leader of Business Vertical USA for streamlining Payroll Process in Manila site. His primary research area is industrial relations, trade union, and union-management relationship. He was invited to conduct research on ‘Labour Management Relationship in Japanese Automobile Sector’ by Japan Institute for Labour Policy and Training in 2015.
Dr. Payal Anand
Dr. Payal is awarded with her Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Management, Indore in the topic of Impact and Implications of Workplace Loneliness. She has been awarded Junior Research Fellowship by University Grants Commission. She is a certified Personal Profile Analysis Practitioner and Emotional Intelligence Assessor. Dr. Payal is working with Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode as Assistant Professor since April 2019. Prior to joining IIMK, she was working with Indian Institute of Management Raipur. She has also worked with Foundation for Liberal and Management Education University, Pune. Her primary research interest includes micro-level organizational phenomena that affect employees’ productivity and overall performance.
Dr. Roopak K. Gupta
Roopak K Gupta is an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at IIM Kozhikode. He is a Fellow of Indian Institute of Management, Indore. He teaches course on Organizational behaviour, Human resource management and Organization development and change. His primary research area is in the domain of innovative behaviour, creativity, proactive personality and leadership. His research work is presented in globally acclaimed management conferences like Academy of Management (AOM), European group of organization studies (EGOS), and PAN IIM world conference. He has been the recipient of Society for Industrial and organization psychology (SIOP) International Research and Collaboration small grant. He has published his research work in reputed journals such as Personnel Review and AOM proceedings. In addition, he is a trained practitioner in enhancing interpersonal effectiveness at workplace, specifically through psychometric tools like FIR0-B, Transactional Analysis and Coaching. Prior to joining IIMK, he had a rich experience in academics and corporate world with stints at ICICI Lombard general insurance company and Ashok Leyland Financial services, where he was awarded as the best acquisition manager.
Post the payment of all due fees and upon satisfying the requisite attendance & evaluation criteria of the Professional Certificate Program in Human Resource Management, participants will be awarded a certificate of completion issued by IIM Kozhikode.

HR course will be delivered through a combination of methods like lectures, case analysis, discussions, exercises, assignments, group/individual presentations, term projects, quizzes and tests.
All enrolled students will also be provided access to our SLIQ 2.0 Cloud Campus through which students may access other learning aids, reference materials, assessments, case studies, projects and assignments as appropriate. Throughout the duration of the course, students will have the flexibility to reach out to the professors, real time during the class or offline via our SLIQ 2.0 Cloud Campus, to raise questions and clear doubts.
Evaluation methodology is the discretion of the faculty. A minimum of 75% attendance to the live sessions is a prerequisite for the successful completion of this course. The course may require participants to work on individual/group assignments and/or projects. The main objective of such assignments/projects will be to help the participants apply their conceptual learning in the course to actual organizational decision scenarios. The participants will have to secure the minimum pass marks in the respective evaluation components.
Participants who successfully complete the same and satisfy the requisite attendance criteria, will be awarded a certificate of completion. Participants who are unable to clear the evaluation criteria but have the requisite attendance will be awarded a Participation certificate.

IIM Kozhikode was the fifth Indian Institute of Management, founded by Government of India in collaboration with Government of Kerala at Calicut in the year 1996. The Course fee is payable in instalments as per the instalment schedule provided. In the event of late payment of Instalment 1 or any other subsequent Instalments, a Late Fee will be levied as follows.
- A Late fee of INR 1000 + GST will be charged to the Participant, if the instalment is paid within 7 days from the due date published on the instalment schedule.
- A Late fee of INR 2500 + GST will be charged to the Participant, if the instalment is paid between 8 days from the due date to within 14 days from due date as published on the instalment schedule.
- If the Fee Instalment is not received within 14 days from the due date, then the Participant shall be considered a dropout and a Re-joining Fee of INR 5000 + GST will be charged to the Participant if the Participant wishes to continue with and complete the Course and re-joining can be accommodated as per Course guidelines.
Cancellation by the Participant
- Requests for refund of fees on account of cancellation of enrolment shall be considered only if such requests are received prior to the closure of registration or 21 days before the date of course commencement whichever is earlier.
- In the event that such valid requests for refund of fees are received, the application money shall be refunded after deducting a penalty of INR 5,000 + applicable taxes and GST for instalment(s) paid for Indian participants & USD 125 for foreign participants.
- In all other cases, no refund shall be made.
- A participant may opt for rescheduling to a later batch of the same course / another course prior to the commencement of the course. However, such intimation must be made by the participant at least fifteen days prior to the commencement of the course. The amounts paid by the participant shall be considered as advance payment towards the next batch / alternative course. Further, the participant shall have to pay an administrative charge of INR 5000 plus applicable taxes (Indian participants) or USD 125 (foreign participants) for facilitating such rescheduling.
Cancellation by Talentedge & the Institute
Talentedge & the Institute reserve the right to cancel courses at any time owing to reasons like insufficient enrolments, trainer indisposition or force majeure events. In the event that Talentedge or the Institute cancels a scheduled course, the student will receive full fee refund for the same. All refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of a valid refund request.
