No, every user who has signed up on Talentedge|upGrad can be a part of Talentedge|upGrad referral reward program. Benefits vary for an enrolled and not enrolled user as per the terms and conditions.

Who is a “Not enrolled” user?

Students who have ONLY SIGNED UP on the Talentedge|upGrad website are “Non-enrolled” users.

If the referrer’s batch has not commenced and not made the payment for his/her own course, but referred someone is a “Not Enrolled” User.

Who is an “Enrolled” User?

Students who have paid for a Talentedge or upGrad course are “Enrolled” users.

I have still not received my referral bonus

That could be because -

  • The referee’s batch has not yet started.
  • The referee has not paid the full fees for the course.
  • Our audit shows that either the referrer or the referee was fraudulently enrolled in the program to gain referral bonus. To check for the same, our team will be thoroughly checking if the referrer and the referee are not the same users, the referee was not already in touch with one of our counselors, or our counselor facilitated the fraud and guided the referral to initiate a fresh contact with Talentedge and impersonate as a new prospect/user.

When are the Referee benefits (fee waiver) applied/credited?

A referral benefit is different from a scholarship & in case your query is pertaining to the scholarship, please reach out to your admissions counsellor.

In case the referral benefit was not pre-applied in the form of a fee waiver at the time of payment, please connect with your admission counsellor regarding the same.

The referral benefit will not be pre-applied on block fees.

The referral benefit I have received is incorrect (Example: instead of ₹30,000, ₹ 28,500 is credited).

  • Referral benefit is subject to TDS deductions & tax rules as may be applicable at the time of processing the payout.
