XLRI Jamshedpur is the oldest B-school in India. It was founded way back in 1949 by Jesuit fathers who envisaged bringing about a change in the socio-economic scenario. Since then it has been the motto of the institute to strive to be a management school with a difference.

Academic Programs

In line with industry-needs, XLRI has evolved its curriculum, always giving due importance to ethical and socially responsible aspects of management. It has a portfolio of full-time management programs in Business Management, Human Resource Management, and General Management. XLRI also offers part-time programs by way of virtual interactive learning.

Participants are encouraged to apply theoretical learning to solve real-life management issues facing the different sectors of the economy. Virtual Interactive Learning

XLRI introduced VIL(Virtual Interactive Learning). This includes XLRI Online Courses, XLRI Distance Courses, and Part-Time Management Programs. Working professionals are given an opportunity to continue management education without having to take a break from their careers. XLRI uses the Talentedge platform to deliver most of its online programs.
